Alva Playgroup

Dates for 2008

Sponsored Obstacle Course - this will be held within a session at the end of February. All monies raised will go towards playgroup funds to buy things for the children / group.

Race Night - Friday 28th March. 7.30pm in the Johnstone Arms Alva
Tickets are available from the playroom 763570 at a cost of £5.00 each - this entitles you to name a horse and become an owner for the evening........

Easter Party - we will be holding an Easter Party during the morning of March 20th. NO playgroup in the afternoon that day.

Trip to Bearheart Castle - we will be going along to Bearheart Castle in Stirling between 9.20am and 11.40am on 3rd April. Both AM and PM sessions will be going together. NO playgroup in the afternoon that day.

Open Day - Playgroup will be open to all new / prospective children and their families on 22nd May. This is a good opportunity to look around and have a chat to the team about your child.

Trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park, Stirling - we will be going along to visit the animals on Thursday 5th June. We leave at 9.20am and return by 2.40pm. More info via the playgroup.

Annual General Meeting - Friday 6th June at 7.30pm in the playgroup rooms. A chance to have your say about all that happens within the playgroup. Our committee resigns and a new committee is elected from parents / carers of the children who are eligible to attend between August 2008 & 2009. Refreshments served after the meeting.

Family Disco - we are having a family disco in the Johnstone Arms, Alva on Friday 20th June beginning at 7pm. More info via the playroom.
