Latest News Dates for 2009 This will take
place at playgroup on Monday 2nd February 2009. Parent Carers Night Out To be held in
the Cairn. Buffet cost £3 per
head. It is a great chance to chat and
meet other parents. There will be a
quiz and a few games so we can all get to know each other better. Friday 13th
February 7.30pm. Meet the PlayLeader Parents will
be given the opportunity to do this from w/b 2nd March 2009. This will give you a chance to see how well
your child’s development is coming along. Ceramic Experience This will take
place in Playgroup where the children can design/create there own mug. Friday
27th March 2009. Easter Trip The Children
are going to Kidzworld in Alloa for this on 3rd April 2009. More
details to follow through Playgroup. Open Day There will be
NO playgroup that day for both am/pm sessions. This will be on Monday 20th
April 2009. This allows the
parents/carers of those children starting Playgroup for session 09/10 to come
and familiarize with the surroundings. Annual General Meeting Friday 24th
April 2009. The old committee members
will resign and the new ones will be instated. All parents/carers whose children will be
attending 2009/2010, please come along we need your support. Fundraising There will be
a body parts quiz out soon, to raise some money for Playgroup. Activities The children
are now ready for more advanced activities such as the V Tech Computer and
other technical equipment. The
children are taken into the Parents Room where they are in groups of 8 for
controlled guidance in a more structured environment. Dancing by
Katie Arthur is being taught to the children on Monday am/pm sessions. Gym Time – a
sports coach comes in weekly to work with the children. The main aim of this is fun and exercise. There is also a monthly newsletter that is given out so you can
keep up to date with all current and relevant information.
